Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) is a specialized, exercise-based therapy designed to address the symptoms caused by vestibular disorders. Its primary goals are to alleviate vertigo, dizziness, and gaze instability while improving balance and reducing the risk of falls.

For patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), accurate identification of the BPPV type is essential. Repositioning maneuvers are then performed to alleviate symptoms. BPPV is a mechanical inner ear problem caused by dislodged calcium carbonate crystals (otoconia) migrating into the semicircular canals. This disrupts normal fluid movement, sending false signals to the brain, resulting in vertigo.
